sometimes we get too self-centred and think that the world has changed and we start to get critical over the tiniest issues. or perhaps it's just that one mistake that someone has made will make us biased against that person for a very long time until that person actually proves us wrong. sometimes, before we ctually judge others.. we have to look at ourselves in the mirror first. we're all not perfect. i guess 99% of the time i get judgemental and i often have to repent on the spot and ask God to change the way that i view people and situations.
a photographer wouldn't use bright flourescent light to make a photo shoot because bright light would expose all the pimples and black heads etc on the model's face. there're defects on everyone's face. the same goes for us. nobody likes to be exposed under bright light. especially our flaws. nobody likes other people to recognise our flaws. seriously.. who would meet someone for the first time and start revealing all your own flaws? only close friends and family would know where our weakness lie. come on. who doesn't want to be perfect? but in the presence of God, our weakness and mistakes are spread out right before Him and there's no condemnation..
ok wait. you may think im preaching here.. wad im trying to say is that. well.. before you look at other people's weakness, look at your own chao kuan in the mirror. and maybe you'll start treating people better. no worries. im no different. im as guilty of being judgemental as anyone else. well.. im sorry.
i miss my spiritual family. i wanna get closer to them and enjoy the fellowship once again. i've come to the point where i feel that church on saturday and sunday are the times that i look forward to within the week. that's when i feel the most happy bah. hahaha. oh man. so emo. NVM. that's all that im feeing right now. i guess. i need to change my mindset. the people around me may have their weaknesses, but it's me that need to change the way that i think.
